The Academy of Information and Telecommunication Technologies (ICT Academy, St. Petersburg, Russia) was established in 2009 on the basis of research departments of Information Systems and Data Protection Faculty of Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. Scientific and technology works made by the researches of these departments became a strong foundation for the new educational institution. The Academy involves leading specialists and experts in the field of Coding Theory, Communications, Data Protection, Software Development and Hardware Prototyping from different St. Petersburg Institutes and Universities.

How to get in?

Traditionally every October we encourage applicants to submit requests and contacts for admission to ICT Academy. For admission you should send your contact information (name, email, phone) to till the November, 1 (the deadline may be shifted).

It is the prerogative of each course lecturer to determine the best method for teaching and assessing student performance for his or her course. The details and content of courses and its priority can be corrected at any time depending on various factors: level of the group, the chosen priorities etc. The content of the main courses within the block "Communication Technology" includes:

Introduction to Algorithmization

Tue, 10/13/2009 - 16:57

Curriculum and educational plans are defined for 2008-2010 years: courses, themes, subjects, duration, list of practical trainings etc. For details see AcademicsУчебные планы.

Curriculum of the Academy ICT integrates advanced science and technical lectures with in-depth experience in real-life R&D projects. The complete list of courses could be found at Academics Cources. The major themes of the curriculum include:

Specialization "Communication Technology"

The goal of ICT Academy is to train young experts, capable to create new communication and information technologies, successfully operate and develop existing ones. Educational process is oriented to deep learning of the target technologies of the partner companies depending on students' specialization. The full training course in the Academy consists of four semesters that includes three educational-methodical blocks of disciplines:
